Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is additional funding that is used to support children's development, learning and care. Nursery can claim extra funding for any children who meet the Pupil Premium criteria.

Pupil Premium funding can be used in any way we choose to improve the quality of the Early Years education we provide for your child. This could include additional training for staff, investing in partnership working, providing a Speech and Language Therapist in school, additional support, purchase of specific resources, help towards the payment of school trips and the use of interpreters during meetings.

Early Years Pupil Premium provides an extra 60p per hour for three and four year olds who parents are in receipt of certain benefits or who have been in care or adopted from care. This means an extra £342 a year for each child who qualifies. This additional money could make a significant difference to your child and Nursery.
