Ash End Farm trip 2024

A baaa-rilliant time had by all!

CHILDREN met some furry and feathered friends when visiting Ash End House Children's Farm in Tamworth for a Selly Oak Nursery School trip.

Goats, sheep, ducks, chicks, guinea pigs and a menagerie of other farmyard animals were on hand for boys and girls, who were able to feed and stroke them.

Many parents were also able to attend and take part in this valuable learning experience, which introduced why farms are so important.

This was the first time that Selly Oak had organised the trip to Ash End House since 2019.

Teacher Sally-Anne Smith said: "The children were really well-behaved and absolutely loved meeting all the animals. The trip to Ash End Farm is an important step in developing their understanding of the world."
