CHILDREN and staff enthusiastically took part in World Book Day 2024 by dressing up as characters from their favourite stories.

Flocks of Spidermen, Hulks, princesses and Dragons visited Selly Oak Nursery School to celebrate reading books.

Children also wore pyjamas and brought in their most beloved books to mark the day, which is a charity set up to encourage reading. 

Parents also played their part by reading to classes at drop off and pick up times.
