Children dress up to raise money for Children in Need
SELLY Oak Nursery School rallied together to support BBC Children in Need by raising money for the good cause.
Staff and pupils swapped uniforms and their regular clothing for an exciting array of costumes, including princesses, superheroes, firemen, colourful Pudsey jumpers and even Doctor Who.
Parents then played their part by generously making donations to raise £120.
Head Teacher Yvonne James said: "There was a tremendous desire by our families to support Children in Need. Even though we are all feeling the effects of the cost-of-living crisis, they wanted to help make a difference to children's lives. I'd like to thank everyone who was able to make a donation."
